Dr. Katona János

Dr. Katona has over 20 years of experience in advising multinational corporations and local companies in various legal issues. As an expert of arbitration, he has repeatedly represented the Republic of Hungary in iinvestment arbitrations and other nternational litigations. He regularly advises his clients in complex EU law issues. Sports law is also his area of expertise. He also advised his clients in the area of telecommunications, competition law, energy law and other regulated industries. Along with his professional work as an attorney, he is a visiting lecturer at the Department of International Law of ELTE University, Law School. His is listed as arbitrator on the roster of the Permanent Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and on the list of arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Lausanne, Switzerland).
